Time Wasted: Working from Home. Searching... Still Searching

Why are there so many work from home scams out there? Why is it so hard to find a legitimate home based opportunity? I mean, I would literally be well off right now if each of those online applications I filled out actually turned into a profitable situation. But instead all I'm left with is: Time Wasted.

Super (Role) Model

The M.A.D. Poet (aka Melissa A. Dean)

[Broken Wings]

I was that Bird who learnt to fly
With fragments of a broken frame
Human hands could lift me up
But could not fix my broken wings
I was that Bird who lived in sorrow
But always sang "long live tomorrow!"'
Because every time I'd try to sail
My broken wings would flap but fail
My dream was still I will prevail!
I was that Bird tattered and torn
Daddy was gone but left the worm
As bait to hook my rejecting body
Accepted resentment of a time long passed
Emptiness left by Mommy
I was that Bird.

I was that Bird who'd sing a melody
With that pain- filled voice
That could wake the deepest sleep
But whoever arisen to find the voices keeper
Would be left confused By the sight of my
"unjustified demeanor"
(I was that Bird.)

I was that Bird with broken wings
But my soul could fly above all things
Because I was that Bird
I was the Bird...
Carried by the King of all Kings
I was that Bird, tiny and fragile
With Weakling legs.
But strength to try
Because when it came time to fly
I'd soar above the average high
I was that Bird

True Moments.

Si, Puedo!
Donde esta mi amor?
Donde esta mi amor?
No puedo encontrar mi amigo
Por favor
Socorro, encontrar mi amigo,
Mi senor.
So that I can love him, forever Siempre mejor.
(Por lo tanto, que puedo amarlo a el por... Siempre.)
Classmate
...You sat behind me everyday but I didn't know your story
Broke the silence by letting you read some of my poetry
I felt like I knew you for years instead of just merely days
Tell you the truth I've never trusted a stranger this way
Everything you said seemed so real. It's like you've been living my life
And when you talked about your painIt hit my heart like a knife!
Classmate, we've been brought together through common fate
I thank the Lord for your creation and making us meet in this place
I wanted you in my life- to get to know you, to show you
I understood how you felt its' like I wanted to hold you
As you know I didn't want to be here, so I asked the Lord for a sign
Were you the gift he sent? (the thoughts in the back of my mind)
The Lord brought us together forever I want to remember
The soothing stranger that became my shelter through stormy weather
Just you and I in class talking in our secret code
Another chapter of our lives another episode
I hope you can find peace of mind and are released from your sorrow
If we're supposed to meet again...Then yo, I'll see you tomorrow.
You're my designated partner, school or soulmate
I'm so happy that we met you changed my life classmate.
